Located at Aerospace Bristol, the home of Concorde
In 2019, Bristol Technology Showcase (BTS) was held at Aerospace Bristol, home of the last Concorde to take flight. The event was supported by globally recognised speakers, world class technology businesses and representation from the private and public sectors.
Simon Beswick, International CEO of Osborne Clarke opened the event with a keynote explaining how the Bristol based law firm had adapted through all 4 industrial revolutions to become the UK no.1 tech law firm. International Futurist Gerd Leonhard gave the closing keynote talking about humanity vs technology providing great insights into what the future holds for us all.
The event was supported with a video from Tim Bowles, the West of England Mayor and it also facilitated an exhibition with some of the West's leading technology companies showcasing under the wings of Concorde. Professors, Business Leaders, Technologists, Authors and Innovators supported the panel discussions and the Future's Room delivering incredibly insightful event with hundreds in attendance.
Innovate Bristol, published by Global Village World launched at #BTS2019, showcasing the technological strengths of the region and Bristol was the first city in Europe to be featured by the publisher. BTS was delighted that it was chosen to be the launch event.
